The concept of community is central to the experience of all pupils at Cynffig. For us, this means both the community of the school, and the wider community of which we are an important part. We pride ourselves on our inclusiveness, from our Specialist Resource Unit which supports and integrates pupils with moderate learning difficulties, to our sector-leading Learning House, which forms the foundation of our provision for a huge breadth of need, from some who may need a stepping-stone to return to school after serious illness or perhaps a bereavement, to those who may benefit from a modified curriculum, or those who might thrive in the security of a less-formal environment.

Our relationship with the wider community is equally strong. From our Governors, to our musical, cultural and sporting events, everything we do has a natural relationship with the local area, which is loyal and steadfast in its support. From Eisteddfod concerts to Cynffig’s Got Talent, our school hall is so often full to capacity with the evidence of the importance of Cynffig in local lives. We hope you will explore the website to get a sense of what we stand for.
