Cynffig Comprehensive Sixth Form is a friendly, caring and supportive environment which places people and relationships at its core.  We value the relationships we establish by working together: pupils, staff, parents and the wider community.

We do our very best to ensure that each and every pupil who comes through our doors has the opportunity to be successful, achieve the highest standards and become an individual who makes a full contribution to society.  These aims are achieved through strong partnerships with each pupil and their families, the individual support we provide and the wide range of learning opportunities we offer.

The Sixth Form Learning Leader and Challenge Tutors provide academic and personal support for each and every pupil.  Every Sixth Form pupil is supported and guided receiving daily contact with a member of the Sixth Form Pastoral Team, to develop their skills, prepare for life beyond school, review their progress and explore higher education routes.

We offer an extensive PSE programme which supports pupils with citizenship, health and higher education.  This is an important broadening component of our Sixth Form.  There are a range of facilities for private study.  These facilities are available in a designated sixth form study area, in addition pupils have ready access to the Library, Computer Rooms and the Cyber Café.

Our Sixth Form offers a curriculum of real breadth to cater to the needs of all pupils.  We provide a wide range of level 3 pathways which include AS-Level, A-Level and Vocational Level 3 BTEC qualifications.  All Level 3 pupils undertake the Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate Skills Challenge Certificate.
